Public onboarding

Start with the preview, then connect GitHub when you’re ready.

What this app does

DevPulse turns raw GitHub activity into something easier to scan, compare, and share.

Use the public preview to understand the product first. When you sign in, the app pulls your own GitHub account and builds a personal dashboard from your repositories, languages, contributions, and activity.

What visitors can expect

Public profile pages work without logging in.
Your own dashboard appears after GitHub sign-in.
Compare pages can be shared with anyone who has the link.
Theme, accent, and layout settings persist for your session.

Quick start checklist

  1. 1. Share the landing or demo link

Visitors can learn the product flow before any sign-in prompt.

  2. 2. Ask them to continue with GitHub

The app uses the same deployment OAuth app and authenticates each person separately.

  3. 3. Start from the dashboard quick actions

Navigate to activity, projects, and language breakdown right away.

Who sees what

Public profile routes are visible to everyone. Personal dashboards require your own sign-in.

GitHub account ownership

Every visitor signs in with their own GitHub account and sees their own personal data.

OAuth setup

Only one GitHub OAuth app is needed for this deployment. Visitors do not need to configure one.
